Is Earth the only ocean world in our solar system? What are black holes? How old are the planets? Discover the answers to these questions and gain an overview of the planets in the inner and outer solar systems. This course will also encourage students to apply what they learn to imagine ocean worlds and what it might be like to visit other planets. Please note that it is recommended to take this course on a computer.

Roly Ruiz
Roly is a 13-year-old who lives in New York City. He enjoys playing video games and is interested in making music. Roly has participated in many school projects, including the Earthsavers comic book and a musical based on the comic. As a young astronomer, he couldn't resist the opportunity to teach online courses. Roly was especially happy for the chance to do a lot of research. In making these online courses, he hopes to share his knowledge about space and its mysteries.

For his thesis, he’s inventing a way to map out ancient rainfall patterns in South Africa using buried river sand, so you could think of him as a sand detective.
